Family & Recreation Rides: Helmets
Mandatory!
Take the family out for a day of adventure. There is nothing quite like
riding a bike with the breeze in your hair! What a sense of freedom
after a hard work week. Remember to always wear a helmet & take water
along.

Customer Rides: Road: Mondays & Thursdays - Meet at 8:00am in front of the store. Ride is 25-50 miles on road surfaces. Sometimes people will carpool to the Bud Brewery in Cartersville, or go to Silver Comet Trail. Rain or Shine. No Drop Ride. (At own risk, our shop assume no liability if you attend any ride.) |
Some Favorite Bike Trails: Dillenger Park, Cartersville - paved, slightly rolling hills. circles around soccer fields toward Etowah River. (Once in Cartersville, be sure to check out the new Tellus Science Museum.) |
| Mountain: Saturdays - Usually meet at 7:30am in front of the store. Destinations: Clinton Nature Reserve, Big Creek, Carter's Lake, Ft. Mountain, Ft. Yargo, Racoon Mountain, Blankets Creek, Tsoli and Dausett Creek. All levels are welcome. Trails may close for your safety if conditions get rainy. If you attend a customer ride, do so but we must mention this is at your own risk. We assume no liability for anyone attending any ride. Always wear a helmet and do not travel alone. Thank you! |
Red Top Mountain, Cartersville - Iron Hill Trail, you will need MTB bike tires - 4 miles, gently rolling, packed dirt & gravel. Goes around Lake Acworth, stop for picnic lunch or swim along the way. Swift / Cantrel Park - One mile, paved loop for children to cycle - also there is a skateboard park, dog park and kid's playground area. |
